Paris fashion week comes with high street style expectations. The French are stylish, from their simple but chic outfits to their tousled #iwokeuplikethis hair. With Paris being the last major stop on the fashion month schedule, do the international fashion elite have the stamina to pull out all the bells and whistles needed to compete with the French? Apparently they do. This week, the top looks included a slew of great outerwear pieces in brocade, fur and shearling. All these fabulous coats have us wondering if fashion has suddenly gotten practical. The answer may not be a firm ‘yes,’ but kudos to the women who continue to prove that fashion is more than just decoration.
