Plus, it will be sure to delight my fellow subway commuters. I’m sold.

Blazers are my ultimate wardrobe clutch on those days when I’m at a loss for what to wear (which happens shockingly often). For me, the more severe the shape or angular the shoulders, the better. I’m totally won over by the stand collar on this particular number, as I tend to pop the collars of my blazers anyway. Elegant, unfussy, all business — but so chic.

I haven’t stopped thinking about this giant clutch since I saw it coming down the runway at COS’ Fall 2024 show. A reimagined version of the brand’s fan-favourite quilted purse, it’s everything I look for in a bag. Roomy, soft and chic as can be, this plush-panelled number — made of supple leather — can be won cross-body or in a more contemporary way: with your hand slid through the built-in side slit.

I am constantly looking to cut down the steps of my getting-ready routine, which is why I gravitate toward the above two-in-one design. No scarves are necessary with this high-neck coat crafted to be draped around the neck. The quality wool offers a warm cozy feel, while the buttery-soft leather piping adds a polished contrast. It’s a win for the lazy dressers who still want to look pulled-together.
