Shop your boyfriend’s closet

After years of donning skinny jeans, I found myself yearning for a fresh updated look. Celebs were spotted trotting around town in wide leg styles, but it seemed that even Kate Moss couldn’t influence us to swap our stovepipes for looser fits.
Alas, after months of searching I’ve found my new love, the Boyfriend Jean. The style has been spotted on the likes of Katie Holmes and Lindsay Lohan and denim labels are quickly jumping on the bandwagon. This style is a relaxed fit, stone-washed and cuffed at the ankle—in other words, the antithesis of skinny jeans. Luxury labels like Acne, Prps and Current/Elliott (shown) are offering great selections for fall. And now the look is even creeping into the mass market à la H&M where I recently spotted a pair going for $70.
