We all know beach garbage is a no-no, but what about your beach garb? Swimwear has long had a less than impressive carbon footprint. Well, one of our favourite fashionable retailers is here with a sustainable swimwear solution, just in time for vacation season. Say hello sunshine to sustainable Reformation bathers.

Thanks to a soft, renewable and plastic-free material called EVO by Fulgar (sourced from the castor plant, which doesn’t require much water to grow) and a regenerated nylon, these bikinis and one-pieces are the perfect way to celebrate the warmer seasons ahead. Plus, there’s no compromise on style in their vintage-inspired silhouettes, which come in 15 different colourways and range from size XS to XL.

Shop the new collection online and in-store at Reformation and at shopbop.com.

Pinterest launches body type ranges

Planning a wedding? Your European summer? Whatever the fashionable fête may be, your vision boards are about to really come to life.

Introducing body type ranges, Pinterest’s newly launched tool that allows users to yield search results they can relate to. Similar to its previously launched skin tone and hair type technologies, this feature helps shape individual algorithms to better reflect how users see themselves in search results. Simply search a fashion-related topic and then use the drop-down toggle to select the body type you most closely identify with. It’s optional, of course, but it’s AI used right. After all, it’s hard to feel inspired when you don’t feel represented.

Watch this space, as the platform will widen its scope to include men’s fashion later this year.
