I’m writing this letter just a few weeks into 2026, but the year is already hitting differently for me.

In accordance with Lunar New Year, we’ve entered the Year of the Horse, a time associated with optimism, resilience and pushing forward with affirmative energy, emotion and ambition. Though modern life can feel heavy, the idealist in me is forever focused on accentuating the positive, always looking to build and grow. My personal vision board is brimming with exciting new benchmarks and goals. I’m embracing “power-horse energy” in everything I do—it’s all about forward motion and evolution.

To usher in a new year, this issue is dedicated to spring trends. We’re sharing the key runway takeaways of the season, big launches from design houses and beauty brands and forecasting the next generation of accessory trends. Our editors report from the fashion front lines on the top looks and pieces you need to refresh and restyle your wardrobe.

I’m especially loving all the chic handbag silhouettes—from slouchy pouches to boxy oversized totes—and the proliferation of celestial-inspired timepieces, which add a touch of whimsy to your everyday. Fine tailoring for men is another revival to be celebrated. The return of the gentleman is absolutely an iconic fashion moment.

In the age of constant reinvention and evolution, the business of beauty and wellness has become particularly exciting. As someone who’s heavily invested in health and well-being, I’m always watching this space and anticipating innovations. Our new editorial series “Best Practices” gets into the latest and greatest in cosmetic procedures and self-care moments. We’re tapping into the greater conversation surrounding self-care and how taking care of ourselves has sparked a cultural shift influencing everything from style to travel, art and design.

Fronting our March issue is Edinburgh-born actor and singer Thomas Doherty. We shot the Gossip Girl, Tell Me Lies and Paradise star in New York. Doherty is someone who loves to have a ton of fun with his fashion. “Captivating,” “charismatic,” “fun,” “funny,” “gracious” and “humble” are a few words to describe our cover star. It was truly a joy to spend time in his orbit. Suffice it to say, we had a supremely stylish day on-set with him.

Wishing you an energized and incredible year ahead. Enjoy the issue!

With gratitude,
