Spring is the season we all wait for. The lightness. The intention. The restorative feeling of renewal and rejuvenation that transpires as the world begins to bloom again—a particular kind of magic.
Leaning into my year of personal growth and evolution has me starting my days early, with mindful moments and quiet clarity. I’ve also been challenging myself physically, training for my first Hyrox competition, happening in May. This has meant upping my workout intensity, getting back to running and shifting my daily training time to sunrise—which I’m actually loving because it sets an empowering tempo for my day.
The way I’ve been approaching fashion lately is intimately connected to how I’ve been training. I love strong, sharp looks that feel disciplined, confident and intentional. This style aesthetic is also one that’s inspiring this issue, which we’ve dedicated to sports and travel, celebrating the many ways performance and fashion intersect.

Some of my favourite features include our look at the evolving aesthetic of the NHL (hockey has never been stylish), our deep dive into workoutwear that blends nostalgia with the demands of modern-day athletics and our roundup of refined timepieces that merge high fashion and function. As always, highlighting Canadian fashion is our MO, and you will see it woven throughout the issue.
On the beauty front, fragrance continues to be a top buy for all generations, and our editors share their most treasured scents. We also explore the latest innovations in skin technology and which treatments are on-trend to deliver the refined results that today’s consumers covet.

Travel is something that heals the soul, and there’s an interesting trend happening with travellers this year. Hotels matter. They have become the reason and the destination—not just places to rest but places to explore, indulge and unplug. The Aman New York—a stylish sanctuary in the heart of always-on Manhattan—is a beautiful example of this. We checked in and then fully checked out in this chic oasis of calm.
New York was also the setting for our April cover shoot with Zazie Beetz. The German-born actor and star of They Will Kill You brought a cool-girl energy to the set and was a dream to style.
Wishing you a spring full of great fashion, joyful moments and positive vibes.
With gratitude,
