How do you define a Prada girlie? Simply put, she’s a chameleon. She’s playful, yet poised; nostalgic yet fashion forward; singular yet always on-trend. Or, as the Italian brand writes in a press release, “a multitude of protagonists, different lives, each entirely separate, unpredictable, and unique.” No one better personifies this than actor Carey Mulligan, who Prada enlisted to be the star of its Spring 2025 campaign entitled, “Acts Like Prada.”
In the images shot by Steven Meisel, the Brit is enveloped in Prada’s warm weather garments, embodying multiple personas. The Space Age ingenue with the viral grommet skirt. The casual prepster in high-rise denim and a button-up shirt. The retro glamazon with a fur-collar coat and avocado-coloured bag. Regardless of which aesthetic speaks to you, the message is clear: fashion is never static, and neither is Prada.
By now, we’ve all seen the Dior Toujours bag (and added it to our wishlists). But this week, the French Maison gave us a new reason to covet the calfskin carry-on with the release of a vertical variation.
Distinguishing it from its predecessor, the new Dior Toujours bag is taller and slouchier than the original, likening it to a satchel rather than a typical tote. Rest assured: the same quilting, handles, and “D-I-O-R” charm is still present. Just think of the new version as its sleeker sister, with more support for your baguettes and bouquets.
Looking to up your self-care game this new year? H&M’s got you covered with the launch of its Wellness Edit, a curated range of fashion, home, and beauty products designed to elevate your space and wellbeing.
As per the press release, the selection “invites you to invest in yourself by focusing on the small habits that build a lasting routine and lay the foundation for genuine wellbeing.” Think scented candles, extra soft leggings, jade rollers, and more.
