What are you wearing a why? I love Ralph Lauren, so my jacket is vintage Ralph Lauren, with matching scarf, the larger scarf is from Italy, white shirt Ann Taylor, the skirt is Club Monaco, and the boots are Italian. The purse is also Italian, you think I’d know every label, but I don’t I buy things because I love them and for the quality. I dressed for a little bit of warmth and the colours.
Favourite thing you’re wearing? I love the jacket, because it’s the season for wearing velvet and it’s a take off of the equestrian theme.
Who are you coming to see or what are you doing at the tents? I was just at Klaxon Howl and I thought it was hilarious and the styles were so wonderful for men. Before that was Christopher Bates and I thought he brought a lot of colour and fun to a dressier men’s look.
What do you like about Toronto fashion week? The new awards that are coming out this season, the DHL award for 3 George Brown students, I think that’s so inspiring. Then of course the CAFA awards so suddenly with big sponsors giving good attention to what’s happening in Canada their support has meant so much. Finally Canada and Canadian fashion designers who have been working hard all along are suddenly getting a lot more attention and encouragement.
What’s your fave fall trend? I know the big one of course is the animal prints.
