The big day has finally arrived!
After months of speculation about which designer label Pippa Middleton, 33, will wear to wed hedge fund manager James Matthews, 41, the secret was finally revealed this morning.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister arrived at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, in a vintage car with her father Michael Middleton, wearing a stunning custom Giles Deacon lace-bodiced wedding gown featuring a high neck and cap sleeves.
“I was thrilled to work with Pippa on her wedding dress,” Giles Deacon told The Telegraph. “The dress is constructed with a cap sleeve, high neckline and features a corseted bodice with draping to the front and a heart-shaped detail at the back. The bespoke silk cotton lace was hand appliquéd to create an illusion of the dress having ‘no seams.’"
Middleton completed her gorgeous bridal look with a Stephen Jones veil, Maidenhair Fern tiara and Manolo Blahnik ivory satin shoes.
The newly minted Mrs. looked radiant, as did her sister Kate Middleton, who wore a custom rose pink full-sleeve Alexander McQueen dress, a sculpted rose hat by Jane Taylor and morganite earrings by Kiki McDonough.
Princess Kate’s children, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, looked adorable as page boy and flower girl at their aunt’s wedding, a.k.a. the society event of the year.
