It doesn’t matter what else happened at the opening night party for the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibit at the Musée Des Art Décoratifs. It doesn’t matter that Gwyneth Paltrow was smiling, amiable, and stunning; that Kristen Stewart was hard to recognize with dark hair; that there were more Vuitton outfits on guests than on a Vuitton runway; or that Anna Dello Russo arrived in a sugary Spring 2012 ad campaign outfit with a parasol, which she clutched most of the night.
All that mattered was that the man of the hour arrived in a pink polo dress. It was hard to tell at first, Jacobs being the centre of a crush of well-wishers. But the photos don’t lie.
