It’s the most wonderful time of the year for those of us who love to wear an over-the-top outfit and make a dramatic entrance. Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 kicked off on January 27, and the street style alone has kept us highly entertained.
While Couture Week is never known to be a pared-back affair, this season feels particularly expressive. Schiaparelli kicked off the occasion with a vintage-inspired collection that pushed back on the recent reign of minimalism in fashion. “I’m so tired of everyone constantly equating modernity with simplicity: Can’t the new also be worked, be baroque, be extravagant?” creative director Daniel Roseberry wrote in his show notes. His pieces were an ode to boundless imagination — and from the look of things, Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 street style is following suit.
Front-row figures like Kelly Rutherford and Anya Taylor-Joy have flocked to the French capital in expertly accessorized ensembles, while off-duty models like Alex Consani and Mona Tougaard have been spotted serving signature post-runway polish. Outside the shows, we’ve seen a trend of towering headpieces, sensational suiting and sumptuous fur coats. Each look uniquely exciting, it’s a visual feast of opulent sartorial storytelling.
As the week unfolds, we’re rounding up our favourite street style moments from outside the Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 shows. Click through the must-see looks below.
