While the fur and exposed zip trimmed parkas were standouts, the simplest look of a long, asymmetric white tunic and expertly tailored black pant stood out most. Dark florals Don’t stash your florals til spring. Darkly romantic, designers have been turning to the garden for inspiration in the colder months for some time. Blooms in deep Bordeaux and eggplant shades feel right at home in the cold. At Nina Ricci today, the floral fabrics were spliced with brocades, velvet and lace on evening dresses. Any way you slice it, a fur trimmed shoe and floral frock are most definitely frosty weather fashion friends.
