Paris Fashion Week: 30 behind-the-scenes photos of the chaos before the Fall 2016 shows
Just like that, we’ve survived another fashion month. While we’ve kept you up-to-date on all the things you need to know, trend wise, we take a look back at some of Paris Fashion Week’s best under-the-radar moments (aka the backstage madness) to celebrate the end of Paris Fashion Week.
There’s something so mesmerizing about what goes on behind the scenes before curtain call. While the shows are magical productions themselves, with models flaunting designers’ vision down the runway, what happens backstage is another world we non-fashion week attendees rarely get a glimpse of, but are just as curious about. It goes without saying that a lot of work goes into producing designers’ biggest shows of the season. Thanks to the help of an efficient team of professional makeup artists, hairstylists, production assistants and so on and so forth, these shows goes off without a hitch (see these videos of Dior and Chanel’s pre-show prep for proof).
To document the beautiful chaos that goes on behind the scenes, we enlisted photographer Mauricio Calero to head backstage at some of the buzziest shows of Paris Fashion Week.
