Nordstrom’s K-Fashion Pop-Up Shop Brings the Best of SoKo Style to Canada

When it comes to satisfying our latest K-beauty and K-fashion obsessions, we’ve been making do with online shopping (thankfully, we’ve nailed down all the best places to shop). But with so many of the e-commerce sites offering one-size-fits-all clothing and a roster of brands we’ve never heard of, clicking add to cart and praying it fits is a dicey move (after all, nothing beats trying on in store).

Luckily, the best of K-fashion is coming to Canada. Olivia Kim, Nordstrom’s Vice-President of Creative Projects, is rolling out the last of the retailer’s three-part K-Pop series, which means we’ll finally be able to shop Kim’s curated collection of SoKo’s best. Cue the angel music.

“The Korean fashion scene is exploding,” said Kim. “There’s so much buzz and energy around Korea and Seoul Fashion Week, and fashion there is differentiated in how quick, energetic and youthful it is. Street style there is beyond, and more and more people are paying attention now which is exciting to watch.”

Given that Seoul Fashion Week has been on everyone’s watchlist for the past few seasons, there’s no time like the present to check out the designs by some of South Korea’s buzziest designers. We’re talking KYE, J-Koo and SJYP all in one shop.

Pop-In@Nordstrom: K-FASHION will open to the public at CF Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto and CF Pacific Centre in Vancouver on March 31, and will run until May 7. Judging by the success of the Gentle Monster and K-beauty pop-ups, we’re sure these pieces will be flying off the racks.

From statement platform sandals to cool bomber jackets, flip through the gallery below to see which pieces you need to add to your wish list, stat.
