Blogger Bryanboy wins the biggest try-hard award. Wearing Alexander McQueen‘s mirrored visor, printed Prada brogues and a neon lime fur camera strap, he’s only an it-bag away from completef must-have overload.

Victoria Beckham‘s collections keep getting better and better. With husband David Beckham beaming from the front row, her new take on tailoring expands her offering beyond the beautiful, but now expected body-con dresses, into tailored separates territory. A pimento mini skirted suit and simple long-sleeve car coat stood out among the otherwise black and white palette.

Donna Karan knows how to make her guests feel welcome. While most designers must be running around backstage handling crunch time crises, she was out front mingling with the crowd at DKNY before they dimmed the lights.  I especially loved that on every seat was placed a vegan and gluten free Kookie, courtesy of Karlie Kloss, who has partnered with the FEED Project to provide 10 school meals to hungry children for every oatmeal treat sold. Fashion and philanthropy never tasted so good.

Diane Von Furstenberg is taking high-tech fashion to a whole new level. Going way beyond the livestream, her special partnership with Glass by Google had a few runway models, Google founder Sergey Brin (seated front row) and even Diane Von Furstenberg herself, wearing the slim frames that let you digitally capture and upload everything you see. Will this be the future of fashion?

The models were having a major moment at Zac Posen. From Twitter’s latest member Naomi Campbell and Coco Rocha (who had said she wouldn’t be walking any of the New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 runways) to Karolina Kurkova, Crystal Wren and Lindsay Wixon, he rounded up an all-star cast of top models to show off his stunning collection of structured gowns in the open air (thank goodness the weather held out). There were audible gasps in the audience as each girl made her appearance. Rumour has it that the crew from the new show The Face was there filming too.
