New Years Eve 2015

Sasha Xiao, 25 Toronto | Sasha’s Satisfashion

New Year’s Eve is one of the most magical nights of the year. It allows us to embrace a new chapter in life while reflecting from the past. Talking about holiday shades, I personally believe that red and gold combo is the most holiday-appropriate and classic choice. It brings joy, spark, and uplifting feeling to the final countdown.

New Years Eve 2015

Alexandra Grant, 26 Vancouver | Barbara Ann Solomon, 25 Toronto | Barbara Ann’s Style Blog They say how you spend New Year’s Eve, is how you will spend the rest of your year, so I thought that I spend the evening starting my resolution for 2015, of learning how to cook. My friend will be playing host for a super low-key dinner party, where we will create personal pizza and other savory, (and hopefully) delicious dishes. My New Year’s Eve style this year will be all about comfort, ensuring that I can move around the kitchen with ease. This basic dress from Zara, (currently on sale) is perfect and will allow for my dainty ear cuffs and statement making boots to be the highlight. Barbara’s wearing: Dress, Zara. Boots, Christopher Kane from The Room at Hudson’s Bay. Earrings, Baublebar.com.
New Years Eve 2015
Kira Paran, 29 Edmonton | Northern Style Exposure I always have one thing on my mind when planning for a New Year’s outfit... sequins! It’s easily the easiest time of year to get away with this darling little detail. Instead of going for your little black dress, live a little, pull out your little sequin dress instead. Or in my case, a stunning sequin maxi in midnight blue. This is the only time of year when it is socially acceptable to look like a giant disco ball, so why not? Kira’s wearing: Sweater, Line Knitwear. Sequin maxi skirt, Calvin Klein. Bag, Chloe. Necklaces, J.Crew.
New Years Eve 2015
Becky Kung, 30 Calgary | Velvet & Vino I’m a firm believer that New Year’s Eve is all about glam. This year, I’ll be attending my friend’s wedding, and so I’ve opted for a mixed of glam, playful and stylish in the red tulle dress. Although I love wearing sequins on New Year’s Eve, this red dress seems slightly more wedding appropriate combined with a holiday vibe. Becky’s wearing: Dress, Chic Wish. Heels, Le Chateau. Clutch, Topshop. Necklace, Forever 21.
