The goal of the “Myles Sexton Breakout Talent Award” is to mentor three emerging designers who are breaking barriers within the industry and have a distinct and avant-garde aesthetic. And, as with everything the model and HIV/AIDS activist does, the prize will focus on diversity and inclusion.
Not only will the three winners receive the coveted award title and an ongoing mentorship from Myles Sexton, they’ll also get a complimentary runway show at Fashion Art Toronto’s 1664 Fashion Week in November 2024. Apply now!

Calling all American jewellery designers: On July 29th Tiffany & Co. and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced the launch of the Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewellery Designer Award. According to the press release, this award (which is the first of its kind) will “recognize outstanding American jewelry designers who are committed to driving inclusivity within the design industry, elevating jewellery design as its own category akin to womenswear and menswear.”
Selected designers will participate in a mentorship program with the luxury jewellery house but only one lucky winner will receive a year-long fellowship within Tiffany & Co.‘s design department, along with a $50,000 award. A not-so hidden treasure, indeed.
