Milan: Dolce & Gabbana get nostalgic for fall

Dolce & Gabbana scored with the most powerfully emotional show of the week. The entire audience was completely verklempt and near tears--from the swell of the soundtrack (Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman’s romantic duet in Moulin Rouge) to the beautifully-shot black and white slo-mo  film that paid homage to the craftsmanship of the atelier.

The show tugged at our heartstrings, as hit after hit from the duo’s repertoire appeared: Sicilian widows, lingerie and corsetry, phenomenal tailored jackets, leopard and lace.... Stefano and Domenico showed nostalgia for the past in a thouroughly modern way. Just divine!
