Every Look Meghan Markle Has Worn on the Royal Tour of South Africa (so far)
The #MeghanEffect is back.
The Sussex family’s royal tour of South Africa is officially underway. Kicking off on September 23 in Cape Town, the 10-day long event will see Harry, Meghan and baby Archie visit numerous places across the country to learn more about important initiatives supporting education, female empowerment and more.
And whilst we love any chance to see the family together, a key part of any royal tour is the wardrobe. Meghan has used her previous tours to champion local designers with important causes at the heart of their businesses, and her South African wardrobe is no different. Plus, we’re seeing the Duchess, who is passionate about sustainability, re-wearing pieces from earlier trips, too, including the blue Veronica Beard dress she first sported on the royal tour of Tonga last year. Her support of Canadian brands is continuing too, via her Brother Vellies flats and Club Monaco dress.
The #MeghanEffect is in full swing right from the start of the trip, with the black-and-white wrap dress from Mayamiko the Duchess wore on day one selling out almost instantly once identified.
