Marc Jacobs’ entire Spring 2012 collection stolen! Let’s hope Winona’s not to blame...

Earlier today, on a train from Paris to London, Marc Jacobs' entire set of Spring 2012 samples was reportedly nabbed! Dun dun dun. An email sent out to UK press read “The Marc Jacobs PR team is sorry to inform you that our press day tomorrow in the Marc Jacobs store is cancelled, due to the theft of the spring/summer 2012 collections during its transfer from Paris.” All 46 looks? We can’t imagine who would be able to quietly and successfully extract that many racks/trunks/garment bags of frothy and, mind you, crinkly items, but then again, maybe we don’t know many professional thieves to weigh in on the matter. What will Sofia Coppola wear to the Oscars? Maybe Jacobs shouldn’t have saved Winona after all!
