A good soundtrack is enough to convince me to like anything, not that Malorie Urbanovitch’s Fall 2015 collection needed any help. To the heady tunes of Only Lovers Left Alive, the Edmonton-based designer let out a quiet, cozy ode to Morocco, where she recently drew inspiration. The collection, a tasseled trip through the artisanal booths that line Marrakech, featured hand-woven intarsia knits, button-down mini-dresses and retro-bent seperates. Keeping the palette in autumn territory, Urbanovitch’s statement was made with lime green ostrich feathers, which hung from three finale pieces. The tidy range was so perfect for understated cool girls that, naturally, we’ll be stocking up.
