We’ve Found Your New Favourite White Tee (And It’s from a Canadian Label)
Our Associate Fashion Editor, Eliza Grossman, was an early convert to Canadian basics brand Kotn. She bought one of their classic crew neck tees and it made its way into high rotation through the steamy summer months (and even into her Paris Fashion Week suitcase). There’s something so effortlessly easy about a classic white tee. You can wear it with literally anything (sequins, jeans, whatever) and this one ticked all the boxes. Not see through? Check. Washes well? Check. Roomy but not too boxy cut? Check and check. Plus, we love the fact that their they source the Egyptian cotton directly from the farmers, ensuring a fair wage for them, and a tee for under $35 for us. But little did we know, she had actually bought a men’s style.
Launching today is a dedicated women’s line. It fills in all the holes we wished were included in the OG collection, like a perfectly cropped sweatshirt (that comes in the prettiest spearmint colour), square neck tanks and fitted turtlenecks (that we’ll be living in come wintertime). With a more fitted sleeve and body, we’ll have to add the women’s tee to our collection too.
