JW Anderson and UNIQLO Have Teamed Up Again
Mark your calendars, the Fall/Winter 2019 collection will be launching this October.
Following the success of the duo’s first collection in Spring/Summer 2019, UNIQLO has announced that they will be teaming up with the Northern Irish designer yet again. The new Fall/Winter collection with JW Anderson will be launching in October and follows the theme “Great British Outdoors.” In a press release, Anderson explained, “For this latest collection with UNIQLO we really kept to the idea of British classics. There are some elements like tartan fabrics that are instantly recognizable as British, but then unique in that we have remade them to also be LifeWear.”
This collection will see the combination of UNIQLO’s attentiveness when it comes to fit and functionality, and Jonathan Anderson’s reputation for innovative designs that embody British tradition. LifeWear is UNIQLO’s every day wear designed for simplicity and longevity. It is a line that is constantly evolving to fit the need of the consumer, and will be a central component to JW Anderson’s collection with the brand.
Both brands have been incredibly successful in their own right, so it will be exciting to see what their collaboration has in store for us a second time around.
