Just announced: Prabal Gurung, Joseph Altuzarra and Pamela Love nominated for CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund

The 10 finalists for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund have been announced. The first place winner of the fund, which was created to give up-and-coming young designers that financial oomph they need run their businesses, receives US$200,000 and the runner up gets a (very) consoling US$50,000. On the list of finalists are the likes of jewellery designer Eddie Borgo, Joseph Altuzarra, who’s worked with Marc Jacobs and at Givenchy with Riccardo Tisci, and Prabal Gurung, who dressed Michelle Obama for the White House Correspondents’ dinner. Past winners include Sophie Théallet and Alexander Wang--and see how well that went for him.
