Jean Paul Gaultier may be leaving Hermès

Though the company won’t to comment, rumours are zipping around that Hermès may lose it’s creative director, Jean Paul Gaultier. The designer is said to be stepping down after a profitable and critically-lauded six-year run--the Spring 2010 show in Paris this October could be his last. We doubt there’s a woman out there who wouldn’t want to pull on this fall’s collection of buttery coats, perfectly-cut trousers and liquid silk dresses and jumpsuits.
