You might not remember the days before J.Crew had stores in Canada, but I do. And suffice to say when that J.Crew catalogue landed in the mail slot, I felt like a kid at Christmas time going through the Toys R Us flyer. So imagine my surprise to discover the new Holiday J. Crew Style Guide was shot in Banff, Alberta. The book brought the J. Crew team to Canada for the first time where they went fly fishing in the Bow River and waded into the turquoise waters of Moraine Lake. The catalogue drops this week and is further evidence that Canada is having a real moment on the world stage. As they say, what a time to be alive.
