Jasmine Tookes Stuns in a Sheer White Gown at the UNICEF Summer Gala

Porto Cervo, a small seaside town on the Northern tip of Sardinia was overtaken by celebrities this past weekend. A huge summer gala hosted by UNICEF was being held on the Italian island and everyone from Heidi Klum to Nicole Scherzinger was in attendance. The event was in support of the charity and its work towards the protection of children’s rights. The night included a live auction and even performances from Ricky Martin, Rita Ora and Sofia Carson.

“We started with 400 people, then we moved to 500, and now we are at almost 600, which is unbelievable. I wanted to do something extraordinary,” said Andrea Panconesi, CEO & Founder of LuisaViaRoma, who helped present the event. “We are here for the children. And I want people to have fun. We are doing it for a good cause, but it’s also a glamorous evening.”

And while everyone came dressed to impress, Jasmine Tookes really stole the show in an intricate gown by Aadnevik.

The dress, which is straight off the runway from Aadnevik’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection, features a simple silhouette but exquisite details. The tiered gown is made with French lace and chiffon and accented with leather and pearls. Aadnevik, run by husband-and-wife-duo, Kristian and Hila Aadnevik, is known for its sexy ready-to-wear pieces. Hila told WWD that their customer is, “independent, sensual and untamed and in the power of her own destiny.” And Tookes definitely embodies confidence in this alluring look.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel paired the sheer dress with a dainty silver choker, an equally sparkly silver clutch and simple drop earrings. Her tousled waves were casually scooped back in a half-up/half-down look, perfect for a night on the Mediterranean coast.
