The J.W. Anderson X Uniqlo Collab Is Finally Here
For J.W. Anderson, the Northern Irish-designer behind the hot, hot namesake London label, as well as Loewe (pronounced Low-AY-VAY just to spare you any public embarrassment) in Paris, two jobs is not enough. Fast retailing giant Uniqlo will release a J.W. Anderson x Uniqlo capsule collection today.
Uniqlo is well known for its coveted past collabs with Jill Sander and Carine Roitfeld. After attending Anderson’s buzzy London Fashion Week presentation we know first-hand he is loved by Londoners. Anderson, for his part, knows the power of mass retail. His 2013 partnership with Topshop was a huge success, so one can only rub their hands in anticipation of these fashion and wallet friendly looks. Oh, and did we mention Anderson recently curated the exhibit “Disobedient Bodies” on now at the Hepworth Wakefield Gallery in Yorkshire? Yup, busy!
