J.Crew just totally upped their summer style game. While it’s no secret this retailer is one of the trendiest on the market, the new J. Crew Instagram campaign has given a whole new meaning to the term ‘fun in the sun.’ Coinciding with UV Safety month, the retailer is promoting ways to protect your skin in the sun this summer.

For the entire month of July, the retailer will be donating $1 to the Skin Cancer Foundation and the Melanoma Research Alliance for every pic that shows how people are covering up in the summer sun. All you have to do is tag your photos with #JCREWSMARTSUN. So snap some selfies and hashtag away!

While social media is at the forefront of fashion marketing these days (just take Pinterest at Fashion Week last year, or the upcoming Mi Adidas) the J. Crew Instagram campaign has made this summer all about supporting a good cause. There’s no rule that says you need to be flaunting J. Crew pieces in your #JCREWSMARTSUN posts, but in case you’re searching for some sun safety products, take a look at J. Crew’s swimwear collection—rash guards and sun shirts included. It’s sure to keep your skin protected in the most stylish way.
