How to Wear the Corset: 11 Street Style Stars Prove it’s a Cinch
It hasn’t been since Madonna rocked the famed Jean Paul Gaultier corset during her 1990’s Blonde Ambition tour that boudoir-wear seemed so right.
What was once exclusively reserved for underneath has made its way to the top. The corset now is being worn with bravado.
In season’s past, Prada styled the corset belt over their military green utility jackets. Balmain tied corsets over their furry white coats and Loewe created an hour glass silhouette with a stiff leather corset atop a creamy flowy dress. A blockbuster trend was born.
Street style stars have flocked to the trend and have been spotted carefully layering the corset belt over trench coats, dresses and most noticeably the KarJenner- made-famous-style, over t-shirts.
