H&M Just Released the Lookbook for its New Collab With Moschino

And it's coming just in time for the holidays so make sure to (casually) jot some of it down on your Christmas list.

Imagine: falling in love with the prettiest luxury bag you’ve ever seen in a boutique window and not being able to afford it’s $1500 price tag in that very romantic moment. The struggle is real, and we know it all too well. Over the years Swedish design house H&M has collaborated with a slew of high fashion brands like Balmain, Kenzo and Erdem on ready-to-wear collections that have brought their clothes, footwear and accessories to the general public at a lower price point. And just in time for this holiday season, the retailer is releasing it’s latest collision of colourful street-wear that’ll make a perfect gift for a daydreaming, purse-loving friend of yours, (or yourself), and it won’t break the bank either.

H&M linked up with Moschino‘s creative director Jeremy Scott to create Moschino TV X H&M and the company released its official look book earlier today. Scott gathered his family of friends to show the positivity, love and diversity at the heart of the collection. Aquaria (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10), Amiaya (twins and influencers Aya and Ami), Sakura Bready (Scott’s assistant at Moschino) and Pablo Olea (Scott’s significant other and Head of Global PR and Communications of Moschino) all starred as models in the campaign. Gigi Hadid is also featured as the face of the new line in several ads.

“Whenever I design, I think about my friends,” said Scott. “The Moschino TV H&M look book is like a party celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity and the energy of the people and the collection.”

The collection certainly celebrates fun – there’s condom-package-shaped earrings, oversized denim overalls, the fluffiest faux fur jackets and plenty of Mickey Mouse prints. Ahead of the Moschino X H&M fashion show in New York City on Oct. 24, H&M has also launched Moschino TV H&M giphy stickers on Instagram Stories, Snapchat and iMessenger. Along with the animated logos and emblems from the collection, there’s giphys of Scott himself “spreading the love”.

You can flip through some of the look book below and start saving your pennies because remember: that Moschino bag is within reach come the end of November.
