Hermès Carré Club Opens in Toronto

The travelling exhibit touches down in Toronto for just three days.

In the spirit of coffee klatches, knitting circles and maybe even stitch ’n’ bitches comes the Hermès Carré Club, a travelling event aimed at bringing local scarves—and their friends—together under one roof. Carré, French for “square,” is how those in the know refer to the company’s silk twill or cashmere scarves. The three-pronged event will include a Carré Click and Check-in for carré and  companion, an on-site studio, where artisans are seen at work, and Carré Cafe, where aesthetes can enjoy a beverage while taking in a reading or musical performance.

And for those in the market for a scarf, the Carré Mania will have a collection of limited edition scarves for purchase.

(The Hermès Carré Club is open from Friday September 28 to Sunday September 30 at 151 Bloor Street West in Toronto.)
