Gaultier-mania: Holt Renfrew welcomes fashion’s legendary bad boy to Montreal
Hold on to your haute couture — Jean Paul Gaultier is coming to Holt Renfrew! Just in time for his retrospective exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts (opening Friday, June 17), H.R.’s Montreal location (1300 Sherbrooke St. W, 514-842-5111, holtrenfrew.com) will play host to the designer on Saturday, June 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The public appearance is Gaultier’s first in Canada, simultaneously serving as a celebration of his 35th anniversary in fashion and 23 years of Holt Renfrew carrying his designs. How will the retailer celebrate? Limited-edition Gaultier pieces, of course. Go Gaultier and punk up any look with signature striped T-shirts, umbrellas and teddy bears, available as of June 6.
