Our Fave Fans of the Supreme x Louis Vuitton Collab

In a surprise move, Louis Vuitton cancelled its  Supreme x Louis Vuitton series of pop-up shops. The luxury label teamed up with the NYC skate brand on a line of jackets, leather bags, sneakers and, of course, the popular Supreme box logo hoodie. Resale on that Hoodie alone has been as high as $25,000, a considerable spike from it’s sticker price of $860.

Pop-up shops in cities like NYC, Houston and Vancouver did not open on Friday July 14 as originally planned, leaving potential shoppers stranded. The previous pop-ups in LA and Miami caused local mayhem with hundreds of people waiting in line for days.

Supreme is known for its “hype-beast” following which has young people camping out sometimes blocking neighboring storefronts and causing all-round hassles.

Shops did open in Sydney, London and Japan on June 30, but it looks like the rest of North America won’t be able to get their hands on the exclusive luxury collaboration anytime soon.
