While there may be “break-up rumours were false!” updates–and the inevitable “rumours that the break-up was false, were false!” updates–Martone maintains, via Twitter, that they’ve been split for about two months. The much cackled about Snooki, gossip fodder and star of Jersey Shore, has just been compared to Elizabeth Taylor by fashion writer Cathy Horyn. Why? Images of Liz, recently published in Vanity Fair, “confirm a short, busty woman with high hair, big jewelry, garish taste in clothes and a complete indifference to the cyclonic effect that all that produced.” [NYTimes]
Lanvin will be releasing a new scent in late August, which the brand maintains is not specifically for the bridal market. With a name like “Marry Me,” that would be an easy mistake to make. [WWD]

According to Anna Mouglalis, who plays Coco Chanel in the upcoming Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (a Chanel biopic riding on the coattails of the hype of Coco Avant Chanel) says that Karl Lagerfeld was an essential part of getting into the role of Coco. “He relayed anecdotes about Coco, showed me the archives and lent me some beautiful dresses,” the French actress said.
