Fashion news: LMVH may buy Rodarte, Roger Federer gets style tips from Anna Wintour, and Romans wore socks with sandals

Looks like luxury giant LVMH is interested in purchasing Rodarte. The LA-based label has yet to pull in a profit–last year they made a meagre $2 million in sales, despite being the label on everyone’s lips. No deal has been made yet. [Fashionista]

Last night, tennis champ Roger Federer admitted that he often gets sartorial advice from none other than Anna Wintour. “I asked her about the pink color I was wearing last week and she was like, ‘Oh, you sure about that Roger?’ Too late now! But I got good reviews.” [The Cut]

Weezer, who some time ago had a magnificent moment with their “Sweater Song,” is teaming up with Hurley to do a capsule collection. This is relevant because their recent album Hurley, had a picture of Hurley from Lost on the cover. Fingers are crossed there will be sweaters with Jorge Garcia’s face.
