No longer just a practical staple for tourists, the fanny pack is in the style spotlight once again and has been grabbing headlines ever since.
Supermodel and Instagram queen Kendall Jenner has been sporting a vintage Louis Vuitton fanny pack while running around New York, and other celebs like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have jumped on the bandwagon as well.
Always the trendsetter, Jenner styled her fanny pack (or bum bag as the Brits call it) as a cross-body bag, rather than a belt around her waist. This begs the question: if it isn’t worn across your, ahem, backside, is a fanny pack still a fanny pack?
Either way, if you need further proof that this trend is here to stay, fanny packs and belt bags were seen on the Fall 2017 runways at Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang and Gucci as designers embraced the 90s throwback look.
