Erin Kleinberg casts Heather Marks in her Fall 2015 lookbook: See the entire breezy collection

Erin Kleinberg Fall 2015

Canadian designer (and The Coveteur co-founder) Erin Kleinberg has just released the campaign for her Fall 2015 collection, and it’s a quick lesson in easy luxe dressing. The campaign is a collaboration of Canadian talent, featuring Toronto-based photographer Jeremie Andrew and Canuck supermodel Heather Marks.

A mishmash of sportswear, military ’70s chic, and pyjama dressing, the collection was inspired by none other than Hugh Hefner himself. “I wanted to make a collection where a tuxedo and silk pyjamas could hang out together,” she says. The collection features tux-inspired bottoms, while other standouts include quilted grey sweatpants, easy slip dresses, and sportswear with exaggerated mesh details.

“I love her laidback Canadian energy,” Kleinberg says of her choice to cast Heather Marks in the campaign. “She has a chilled ease to her that is almost tomboyish, and that’s what we are all about this season. The pieces felt natural on her, as if we just pulled them out of her closet.”

This season, “Bomb Dot Com” and “Game on Fleek” are just some of the cheeky (and zeitgeist-appropriate) names for her pieces. Girls creator and star, Lena Dunham, recently wore the aptly named “Night With Hef” dress on David Letterman—a sexy, loose number, complete with mesh trim. Even models are smitten with her creations. “[Heather] was all over The Shacket. It’s our spin on the classic lumberjacket. Us Canadian gals love us some plaid!”

At the end of the day, Kleinberg is designing for girls living #thatEKLife (as she often hashtags on her Instagram). “She’s effortlessly chic. She needs easy, wearable clothes that she can just throw on and take on the day.”
