Emma Watson isn’t getting the boot from Burberry, but did chop off her hair
It’s been an eventful day in Emma Watson news. The 20-year-old actress had reportedly been replaced by fellow Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as the new face of Burberry, though Huntington-Whiteley’s agent tells Gossip Cop that reports of Watson’s exit are false. The Harry Potter star was featured in the brand’s Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 ads, while Huntington-Whiteley is currently appears in ads for their new beauty line alongside Lily Donaldson and newcomer Nina Porter.
In other, more exciting news, Watson, who until recently has sported enviable long and wavy locks, has debuted a new, much, much shorter hairstyle. She posted this photo to her Facebook page today, stating “Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago... Feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x”
