
Some people drink coffee. Others make it their whole personality. Dua Lipa is firmly in the second camp, which is exactly why her new role as Nespresso’s Global Brand Ambassador feels less like a brand deal and more like an inevitability.
Beyond her chart-topping discography, incredible travel guides and charismatic stage presence, Lipa has built herself into one of the most influential cultural forces of her generation. Case in point: back in 2022, when everyone else was still figuring out if newsletters were even a thing, she launched Service95, a weekly digest covering culture, activism, travel, books and everything in between. Three years later, it’s still going strong and very much worth subscribing to. She’s the girly who makes you want to read the book she’s carrying, listen to the artist she’s championing, and yes, apparently, rethink your entire coffee order. There’s no gatekeeping here. Her whole brand is about inviting people in, and Nespresso is very much here for it.
Nespresso has always understood that your morning coffee is about more than just the caffeine hit, it’s a constant in our daily lives. Forty years in, the brand is still finding new ways to keep things interesting, and bringing Dua along might just be their most obvious move yet. As Nespresso’s CMO Leonardo Aizpuru put it, the goal is to “inspire a new generation to open up to new tastes with confidence.” Honestly, who better?
The partnership also feels personal, which makes it all the more compelling. Lipa shared, “I feel like I have grown up with Nespresso. There’s always been a Nespresso machine nearby—at home with my family, on set, or in a hotel room—so teaming up with them was really an easy decision.” There’s something genuinely refreshing about a brand deal that doesn’t feel like a brand deal.

Their first big collab is already locked in. “Vertuo World,” a global campaign dropping April 14, is shaping up to be quite the debut. Lipa leads the way, with a cameo from longtime ambassador George Clooney thrown in for good measure.
Music, fashion, beauty and now coffee. From fronting YSL Beauty’s Libre Berry Crush fragrance to becoming Nespresso’s newest face, Lipa has a way of walking into any space and instantly making it the most interesting place in the room. Nespresso’s next era is in very good hands.
