Last week, Toronto’s fine jewellery aficionados headed to Yorkdale Shopping Centre for the opening of Canada’s first David Yurman boutique. It’s hard to believe the highly coveted brand waited this long to spoil diehards with a dedicated store, but hey, we’ll take it. Maple Leafs alt captain Joffrey Lupal lent his hotness and charitable connection to the night’s opening celebrations---a portion of the night’s sales went to the not-for-profit True Patriot Love, which aids current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces as well as their families. The newly minted 1,800 square foot space features all of the classic Yurman pieces, including gold and silver for women, men’s, timepieces and limited edition collections.
