Daniel Craig is in his Loewe era

James Bond, is that you? You certainly could’ve fooled us. Daniel Craig is unrecognizable in the Loewe Fall 2024 campaign. Styled with side bangs, glasses and a patterned sweater, the action star is serving less secret agent and more senior citizen à la grandpacore.

He models with Past Lives star Greta Lee and, per the press release, the duo were both encouraged to adopt “crude” characters, for the shoot, the brand explaining “the campaign is a study on how characters and their clothes are intimately related.” While Daniel Craig in Loewe is a little different than his usual suit-wearing self, we love seeing a trendy transformation. After all, everyone’s style needs to be shaken (not stirred) now and again.

Dior taps Lewis Hamilton as a brand ambassador and guest designer

Formula One is everywhere, but then again, you already knew that. Tapping into the F1 fever is Dior whose new ambassador and guest designer is driver Lewis Hamilton.

As the poster boy of the sport, the multi-talented athlete is no stranger to fashion — he’s a regular at the Met Gala, after all. But this marks a new era for Hamilton as he’ll be starring in upcoming campaigns and guest designing a men’s capsule collection, alongside creative director Kim Jones. While it won’t be available until October, expect a lot more luxury ‘fit sightings in the paddock.

Knix is paying athletes to talk about their periods

Knix has never been afraid to talk about periods, and now they’re hoping others with follow suit with the announcement of their “Sport Your Period” campaign. Through the initiative, the Canadian brand will pay athletes to publicly talk about their periods to help normalize the taboo.

So far, former American soccer player Megan Rapinoe and Canadian three-time Olympian Phylicia George have joined the movement, but expect many others to join the revolution.

Is there any better place to look for inspiration than the cosmos? Well, maybe the ocean, but that was so 2023. Enter Tiffany & Co.’s Summer Blue Book 2024 collection that plays with visions of the sun, moon, stars and other otherworldly emblems.

Inspired by the brand’s legendary jeweller, Jean Schlumberger, the new high jewellery offering consists of four chapters; Peacock, Flames, Shooting Star and Wings. A few standout pieces? One “Flame” necklace features over 53 total carats of diamonds. Another is adorned with over 78 carats of amethysts to evoke a shooting star. And I haven’t even mentioned the brooches.

Expect sultry browns, leopard print and oh-so many strapless styles.

Ariana Grande is Swarovski’s new star

Just when we thought Ariana Grande couldn’t get any more sparkly, she is joining forces with Swarovski as its new ambassador and face of the brand. “I am thrilled,” the singer shared in a press release. “It’s an honour to represent a House that shares my passion for creativity, pushes the boundaries beyond the world of jewellery and promotes values of unapologetic self-expression.”

While we have to wait until the 2024 holiday campaign before we see her in action, in the meantime, we can all swoon over the image above. Also, expect to see some serious jewels during the Wicked press tour.
