I never leave the house without a General Quarters toque. It’s a small california based company that sells great menswear essentials. And it’s the only toque I’ve found that actually fits my GapKids sized head. Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones. Best investment I’ve ever made. Extra special for airplanes when you want to block out the shrieking baby in the seat beside you. That beaker-looking bottle is actually a Visvim room spray that I use as cologne. Two spritzes and I smell like a warm cedar plank. Couldn’t think of a better smell. I picked it up on a trip to Tokyo with my friend Tommy Ton a few months back. I bought the scent. He bought the store! I picked up the scarf from my friend Nicky’s new website, Lilogi. It’s an online shopping experience dedicated solely to high quality scarves from around the world. I got the Grisal “Love” scarf in “greige” - my new favourite made up colour!

For the past 7 years, Dan Levy has been part of the Canadian pop cultural consciousness. As co-host of MTV Canada’s The After Show alongside Jesse Cruickshank, we instantly fell for his humour, his hand gestures and his penchant for thick-rimmed glasses. When he ditched us for the sunny skies of Los Angeles a few years back, we’ll admit, we were teary eyed. But hey, can you blame him? Since being in L.A., Levy’s been making waves once again with guest spots on Lainey Gossip and in the film Admission alongside Tina Fey. Most recently, he’s taken that famed frame affiliation to the next level by creating his own line of glasses, D.L. Eyewear. Genius. The line includes 10 Dan Levy-approved styles which double as both optical and sunglass frames (check ‘em out here, as modeled by Levy and his conveniently stunning pal, Sasha Tong).

While we were already fairly well versed in this multitasker’s optical essentials, we went searching through his bag to see what else he carries with him all day every day. So go forth, snoop Dan Levy’s bag!
