

Dakar, Senegal, Manchester, England and now Chanel is adding Hangzhou, China to its long list of exotic runway locations. This week, the French luxury brand announced that it will showcase its Métiers d’Art 2025 collection on December 3, 2024 in the the Chinese city often described as “Paradise on Earth” for its UNESCO World Heritage Site, West Lake.
For those unfamiliar, the Métiers d’Art collection “showcases the exceptional savoir-faire of the maisons d’art artisans, who, since 2021, have been united at le19M, the space devoted to the creation and transmission of the Métiers d’Art, located in Paris,” says the brand. Expect unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail, and maybe even some silk, as Hangzhou is a major production hub of the fabric.

We’re calling it — the Tiffany Lock is the jewellery look of the summer. With that in mind, the jewellery brand is expanding its current assortment to include the Tiffany Lock bracelet in a new, more narrow style, plus earrings and pendants in smaller iterations.
The bangle — now 4mm wide — is available in white, rose and yellow gold, featuring either an all-metal or half-pavé design. And the earrings and pendant are crafted from 18k yellow gold. The only downside? We now want them all!
