Three days till Hollywood’s brightest stars descend upon us for TIFF, and we’re getting a bit of tease by way of the many glamorous red carpets of the Venice Film Festival 2014. As the traditionally-Euro focused festival moves towards welcoming more and more international films each year, the A-list attendees grow, this time around welcoming everyone from Emma Stone to our very own Sarah Gadon.
Much like last week’s Emmy Awards, head-to-toe red proved popular on the red carpet, with model Alessandra Ambrosio stepping out in a strapless Alberta Feretti gown which featured the red carpet piece de resistance: pockets. Kirsten Dunst dressed down the shade, in a Miu Miu mini at the brand’s Women in Film dinner held in honour of filmmaker and artist Miranda July.

August 27, 2014: At the Birdman photocall during the 71st Venice International Film Festival, Emma Stone wears a black/white woodblock printed viscose crepe pants and black tweed chiffon top from the Proenza Schouler Pre-Spring 2015 collection. While pointed-toe pumps with rhinestone embellishments by Christian Louboutin completed her look.
