Nestled between the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards, last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards is just the latest in Oscars forecasting both on and off the red carpet. Jewel tones, prints and mannish dressing---if these burgeoning trends help us predict anything, it’s that Oscars is definitely going to be a fashionable feast for the eyes.
Wardrobe choices hit all the shades of the colour wheel. The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco kept it classic in a red column dress, while Julianne Marguilies wasn’t afraid to bring out some volume onto the red carpet in an electric blue Giambattista Valli gown. Meanwhile, Uzo Aduba, who picked up the first award of the night for her role as “Crazy Eyes” on Orange is the New Black, shone in a lemon yellow Angel Sanchez look. Julianne Moore complemented her red hair with a sparkly emerald green Givenchy dress, while Keira Knightley flattered her growing baby bump in a jewel-toned lace purple gown by Erdem (Canada represent!).
Bold colour outfits may not have been the only key to standing out from the crowd, with two A-list stars stopping us in our tracks with black tuxedo-inspired ensembles. Julia Roberts once again rocked the boy-inspired look in a Givenchy jumpsuit, but it was Emma Stone who proved that menswear dressing could look sexy in a silk tuxedo chiffon gown by Dior.
We daresay Stone’s look was the standout of the night, but who was your favourite on the SAG Awards 2015 red carpet?

Continuing her new and sexy red carpet streak, Jennifer Aniston worked a vintage John Galliano lace dress at the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guide Awards, which features a plunging neckline. Fred Leighton jewellery rounded off her look.
