If you thought the babeular trend was going to come to a stop after the announcement of the last award at the Oscars, you’d be kidding yourself. Since we’ve given you our two cents of last night’s sartorial game on the red carpet, we’re turing the attention on the just as anticipated hottest after party of the year, presented by Vanity Fair.

Changing out of their prom dresses, A-list stars did not hold back on flaunting their bods in party-ready looks. There were a couple of cases that come to mind. Fresh Oscar winners Brie Larson and Alicia Vikander both swapped their Disney-worthy dresses for  dancing appropriate getups (Larson in a dusty-pink velvet Monse dress, Vikander in a sparkly long-sleeved Louis Vuitton) gown. Mind you, both outfits paired rather nicely with their accessories of the night (read: gold Oscar statue).

The LBD proved to be the fail-proof outfit of choice for celebs with plenty of them donning the look in various versions. While we were sad to not see Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior gown get much play on television last night, we have to say she totally slayed it in her two-piece Alexander Wang gown. And while Emily Ratajkowski looked smokin’ hot in a Steven Khalil number, the crop-top loving Taylor Swift skipped out on the stomach-baring dress this time, and instead dropped jaws in an Alexandre Vauthier, complete with plunging neckline and statement gold choker.

There was no shortage of shimmer at last night as well, with Selena Gomez sparkling her way through in a Louis Vuitton form-fitting gown, Kate Hudson giving us some serious leg action in Maria Lucia Hohan and Anne Hathaway glowing in Naeem Khan.
