Naomi watts hits both NYFW and TIFF: Which look do you like best?

Stars are known to throw curve balls at us once in a while when it comes to the wardrobe department (i.e. Rihanna). While we usually expect these surprises amongst the young celebs who are still in the midst of self-discovery, we get pretty mind blown when demure and mature stars like Naomi Watts pull a fast one on us.

As a New York Fashion Week favourite (she did get a seat close to Anna Wintour at the Calvin Klein Fall show last February), we were bound to see Watts there this season. Before heading to back-to-back premieres at TIFF, the British actress stopped by New York City to celebrate the much anticipated launch of Altuzarra for Target joining the designer himself, as well as Naomie Harris, Keri Russell and Sarah Rafferty. All the celebrities wore lust-worthy pieces from the collection (duh!), but Watts stood out in a red wrap dress with the scarf tied around her waist (rather around her neck like in the lookbook) and topped it off with strappy black heels by Christian Louboutin.

And do we really need to talk about how ah-mazing Watts looked at last night’s premiere of St. Vincent. As much as we would love to repeat how much we loved her Stella McCartney onesie look, you can read about it here in the red carpet recap. Can’t get enough of Naomi Watts? Fear not, because this won’t be the last we’ll see of the actress. With her second premiere of the week While We’re Young happening tonight, looking forward to see what she has to bring to the red carpet would be an understatement.
