Emma Watson at the Golden Globes: Inside her red carpet and after party looks
Whether she’s chopping her locks or wearing Brit-designed mix prints, Emma Watson has become one of our favourite Hollywood risk takers. Her style evolution from awkward teen to slick ingénue was never more present than at last night’s Golden Globe awards, where she wowed the crowd with a Christian Dior dress-over-skirt combo on the red carpet. From the front, Watson’s dress appeared demure---a short-sleeved dress with a high slit. From the back, it revealed cropped cigarette trousers, which she paired with Dior earrings and violet cross-strapped Roger Vivier pumps.
After the Globes, Watson hit the red carpet once again for the Instyle/Warner Bros after party wearing a black Theory dress that featured a sheer overlay with metallic embellishments. While the dress of choice was less of a fashion risk than her award show look, she executed the look as perfectly with a matching embroidered Edie Parker clutch and black Christian Louboutin pumps.
