Thanks to Monday’s CFDA Awards, last week’s red carpet appearances were a cake walk in glamour (and seriously inspirational for this summer’s wardrobe). Case in point: Gigi Hadid’s sexy pantsuit at Toronto’s Maybelline New York’s 100th anniversary party, which gives new meaning to summer white. Figuring how to work the boyish charm? Look no further than Dakota Johnson’s on-point front row attire at Gucci’s Resort 2016 show. Meanwhile on the west coast, Spike TV’s Guys’ Choice Awards, celebrating some of the industry’s hottest ladies (Rachel McAdams, Zoe Saldana, Taraji P. Henson–to name a few).
But back to the glitz and glam, highlighted best at last night’s Tony Awards. Unlike previous years, we saw many more A-list stars and top models walking down the red carpet at Broadway’s biggest night. Jennifer Lopez shelved her usual barely-there outfits and instead opted for a princess-like moment in Valentino. Elizabeth Moss and Bella Hadid showed off their silhouettes in stunning column dresses, but it was Kendall Jenner that had cameras (and us!) doing a double take. Not only did she have a dapper designer date (Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa), but the model showed some serious legs in a dazzling mini dress.
